Preserve

Join us for a series of events that celebrate and preserve the flavors of the harvest. We will teach you how to preserve the bounty from your garden or the farmers market in a variety of ways. You can learn what to do to properly can your tree fruit and tomatoes. We will talk about how to preserve tasty treats, condiments, sauces and salsas, so you can enjoy the flavors of summer all year long. Whatever you have been wanting to preserve, we have a class for you. We will also have opportunities for you to pick-up seasonal guides, and to see demonstrations and get advice from expert canners.

Fresh ‘n Fruity: Preserving summer fruits using a water bath technique is where many canners begin their food preservation journey. We will select the season’s best to create jars of whole fruit, jams, and fruit sauces.
