Every year, the Slow Food Utah Board of Directors and fellow volunteers work to promote good, clean, and fair food by organizing events and educational efforts in several main program areas. These include: Slow Food in Schools and on Campus; Micro-grants supported by the annual Feast of Five Senses Fundraiser; Biodiversity; and a monthly Book Club. In 2012, we also inaugurated the annual Slow Food Utah Snail Award to recognize people who have made significant contributions in our area in the spirit of good, clean, and fair.
We partner with many kindred local non-profits and businesses to support these programs. In addition to these main program areas, we organize and participate in numerous other special events in the community.
